Ordinal Numbers

Los números ordinales (first, second, third...) indican orden o posición.

Los números ordinales indican posición u orden: first, second, third... Se usan para fechas, rankings, pisos de edificios y mucho más.

Compuestos: solo cambia el último	twenty-one	twenty-first

My birthday is on the fifteenth of March.
Mi cumpleaños es el 15 de marzo. (fechas)
She lives on the third floor.
Vive en el tercer piso. (pisos)
He finished in first place.
Terminó en primer lugar. (ranking)
It's the twenty-first century.
Es el siglo veintiuno. (siglos)

Con fechas siempre se usa "the" Se dice "the first of January" o "January the first". En el formato escrito: January 1st o 1st January.
